Corporate History

  • 1917

    The General Partnership company Ajioka Juntaro Shoten was established in Kakigara-cho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo and commenced operations as a manufacturing and wholesale business of leather goods.
    Opened stores at famous department stores in Tokyo, including the Mitsukoshi flagship store.

  • 1951

    Changed the company name to Ajioka Shoten.
    Expanded stores to nationally renowned department stores as Tokyo's sole manufacturer and wholesaler specializing in leather goods.

  • 1968

    Changed the company name to AJIOKA Co., Ltd.

  • 1984

    The manufacturing division of Ajioka Co., Ltd. was spun off and established Manufactory Ajioka Co., Ltd.

  • 1988

    Opened Shiohama office in Shiohama, Ichikawa-shi, Chiba.

  • 2003

    Changed the company name to 'LAMAC', in japanese, Co., Ltd.

  • 2008

    Established Matsudo first factory in Ohashi, Matsudo-shi, Chiba.

  • 2011

    Changed the company name to LAMAC Co., Ltd.
    Moved the main office to Shiohama, Ichikawa-shi, Chiba.

  • 2012

    Changed the headquarters address to Kakigara-cho, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

  • 2016

    Established Matsudo second factory in Akiyama, Matsudo-shi, Chiba.
    Established Matsudo office and moved Matsudo first factory in Akiyama, Matsudo-shi, Chiba.
